Page Geary's Gap Pony Club
Gearys Gap Pony Club (GGPC) is the local club for Bywong and holds rally days, usually on the second Sunday of each month. Other events include ODE's, gymkhanas, training sessions and instruction clinics. Most events are at the Les Reardon Reserve, Birriwa Road, Bywong.

Page Palerang Council
Bywong forms part of the Palerang shire with nine councillors elected to represent everyone in shire. Council meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month, except for January. Council offices are based in both Bungendore and Braidwood.
