Lightning strikes more than once
Thunderstorm damage across Bywong keeps electricity and telephone providers busy...
Saturday 16 February 4.30pm:A short, sharp thunderstorm over the Bywong locality on Saturday caused considerable damage with power outages and also telephone lines out. Country Energy responded quickly and power was restored to most affected residences by early Sunday morning. There also have been reports of phone lines being cut and also powered phones being rendered useless by the lightning strikes.
