The 1st Wamboin Scout Group will celebrate its 25th anniversary in
2009, having provided a range of outdoor activities for the youth of
Wamboin since its inception. Activities for both male and female
youth members have traditionally been focussed on the development of
outdoor skills, including bushcraft, pioneering (construction),
canoeing and camping. The current Group caters for youth members up
to the age of 17, with older members also participating in the Duke
of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
